Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of personal data associated with your use of Vyasadasa on our website or Android app. This page explains how to submit a request and what we delete or retain.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to kedarnath.waikar@gmail.com with the subject line: “Vyasadasa Data Deletion Request”.
- Include the email address you used to sign in or contact us (if any), and a brief description of what you want deleted.
- We will verify your request and respond within 30 days.
- To delete data stored only on your device (playlists, drafts, cached sign-in), open Android Settings → Apps → Vyasadasa → Storage → Clear data.
Data we can delete on request

| Song submissions linked to you | Personal identifiers (author name, user ID) on submissions you made; song content may be anonymized rather than removed if already published in the community catalog |
| Admin records | Your entry in the administrators list, if applicable |
Data we may keep
- Published community song content that is no longer tied to your identity after anonymization (for example, lyrics approved for the public catalog).
- Server logs retained by our hosting providers (Vercel) for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then automatically removed per their policies.
- Backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.
- Data we are required to keep for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Data stored only on your device
Custom playlists, song drafts, and cached sign-in email are stored locally on your phone or browser. We cannot delete this remotely. Clear app data or browser storage on your device to remove it immediately.
Retention period
After we process a verified deletion request, personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Residual copies in backups may take up to 90 days to be fully purged.
