Biography

Śrī Rāghavendra Tīrtha was a revered pontiff and composer whose devotion to Mūla Rāma and Veṇugopāla Krishna is captured in his aṅkita Dhīra Veṇugopāla. His compositions and commentaries continue to guide Madhwa devotees worldwide. Entered samādhi at Mantralayam in 1671, he is worshipped as a living presence (Sakshi Gopāla) in the tradition.
