Jagannātha Dāsaru

Biography

Jagannātha Dāsaru authored the Harikathamṛtasāra, a masterwork of Kannada devotional literature that systematically presents Madhwa philosophy through narrative and song. His aṅkita Jagannātha Viṭṭhala appears throughout his extensive corpus. He is regarded as both a philosopher poet and one of the greatest exponents of the post Vijaya Dāsa tradition.
