Gopāla Dāsaru

Biography

A direct disciple of Vijaya Dāsa, Gopāla Dāsaru composed with elegant simplicity and deep bhakti. His aṅkita Gopāla Viṭṭhala dedicates each pada to the cowherd Lord of Pandharapur. Though his life was brief, his compositions remain beloved in Haridāsa bhajana traditions across Karnataka.
